The 1st One
Wow.. it’s Crazy!
The website is complete and so is a goal I’ve had for almost five years. In November 2014, my brother and I took a trip to New York to check out the 49ers at Met Life Stadium to take on the New York Giants. We checked in our hotel room, started hitting up some bars in Manhattan and ended up at Finnerty’s Bar which is the home bar for all Bay Area sports in New York. Little did we know that they were having a rally party the night before the game and the bar was packed with 49ers fans.
Nothing but red and gold fitted fans . The Saturday Night Rally had plenty of drinks flowing and some “It’s It” Ice Cream sandwiches that the 49ers organization dropped off; classy move. You could not go 5 minutes without half of the people in the bar screaming “Who’s Got It Better Than Us” and the other screaming “NOOOOOOOO-body”. We already had the greatest time and the clock hadn’t struck midnight yet.
Needless to say, it was a quick nap at the hotel room and on to Met Life Stadium. We hooked up with tons of Niners Faithful and had a massive tailgate party. Tons of great food, drinks, gold satin jackets and Mac Dre as the soundtrack to our tailgate. Definitely not a bad way to get the ball rolling before the game. As soon as it was time to pack it up and head inside the stadium, we couldn’t believe all the good times we just had before we even sat in our seats. It was a cold November day and with all the fun we already had, we already said it didn’t matter how the game ended up because the trip was already a win. Regardless of that, the Niners ended up taking the WIN back home so that was the cherry on top of the entire weekend.
With the New York trip in the books, we decided to replicate this experience here with our San Francisco fans. We wanted to share the good times, music and experience with our friends and family and now want to share it with everyone. We plan on replicating some of the same events on the road as we cheer on and support our San Francisco Giants and 49ers while we enjoy the good life from the host city. We hope that you join us for the 2019 San Francisco Giants season and the 49ers season coming up.
